I devour books, and write what is on my mind. I like to challenge people to think about why they hold a certain opinion, and like to encourage people to educate themselves on major social issues. I think that our generation needs to remember how to become informed members of society, so that we can affect a positive change in the world. Our futures are not happening in 20 years – they are happening now, and as college students, now is the time to fight to build the world we want to live in. When I am not at school, I work as a facilitator for leadership programs and a high adventure camp, as well as a children's summer camp and a running store. Every job I have had involves both teaching an learning as a member of a community, and I would like to continue that throughout the rest of my life.
