Albert Liao
Cornell University
My name is Albert Liao and I am a sophomore studying Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University. Growing up in Winnipeg, Canada, there wasn’t much to do other than follow sports, so it became an obsession of mine. Without a home team, I adopted New Orleans as my sports city – for whatever reason – and am an avid fan of both the Saints and the Hornets. On campus, I’ve written for the Cornell Daily Sun for three semesters, covering both the sprint football and men’s basketball beat. If I’m not writing or studying in the library, I play a lot of pick-up basketball. If anyone’s ever looking for a short guard who can’t shoot, let me know; I hear they’re in high demand.

April 20, 2012
