My name is Alan Chramiec and I’m a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University, majoring in biology with a concentration in microbiology. Currently I’m working on my honors research thesis that focuses on a specific bacterial transposon and what it reveals about chromosome repair and replication. My interests includemicrobiology, biochemistry, physics, Austrian economics, French food, and East Asian pastries. I enjoy making people laugh and spending time with my dog, who enjoys eating my homework.
