A collection of the most downloaded tracks across college campuses

1. Nas-”Nasty”-Life is Good

The renowned rapper finally dropped some fresh material. This track represents the first single off of Nas’s latest upcoming solo album, titled Life Is Good. Produced by Salaam Remi, the track, along with the album, are slated for an official release date sometime in September.

2. Example-”Changed the Way You Kiss Me (Extended Mix)”

British rapper-turned-club superstar, Example, released his latest single some weeks back. This track is a fresher extended mix of the original and emphasizes more of the melodies and drops of the songs. Chances are if you go to a nightclub this summer you’ll be hearing this song, along with the “whistle song” that I posted up a couple of weeks ago.

3. Lil Wayne-”Dear Anne (Stan Part 2)”

Weezy‘s Swizz Beatz-produced latest release won’t be featured on The Carter IV, but you can grab it here anyway. The track is inspired by Eminem‘s classic track “Stan.”

4. Munchi ft. Mr Lexx-”Shottas (Crookers Remix)”

Recently a Munchi “Shottas” remix EP was dropped by T&A Records. Crookers and his fidgety beats kill it on the track as usual.

5. Frank Ocean-”Novacane”

Frank Ocean may have released Nostalgia in March, but the video for his track “Novacane” dropped earlier this week. The Odd Future member has attained nearly overnight fame thanks to colleague/friend/partner Tyler, the Creator. The music video features Frank Ocean in a dimly lit hotel room with apparitions appearing around him, check out the video below.

6. Rage Against The Machine-”Freedom (Skreamix)”

Dubstep and Rage Against The Machine, seems like an unlikely combination, but UK-dubstepper Skream seemed to figure out the perfect formula.

7. The Weeknd-”The Birds (Part 1)”

Following House of Balloons, indie R&B act The Weeknd have released “Rolling Stone” and “The Birds (Part 1).” These two leaks are slated to drop on either one of two mixtapes that are set to be released at the end of summer and end of the year respectively. The mixtape at the end of the summer is set to be named Thursdays and the second one is still unnamed.

8. Boy 8-Bit-”Fire Extinguisher”

British SNES-inspired electro producer recently leaked a few tracks and debuted some fresh material on the famed Annie Mac Show.

9. Wale-”Lacefrontin’”

Following up his latest (and highly anticipated) release Self Made, the rapper leaked a new track called “Lacefrontin” via his twitter. Produced by Tone P, the track actually sounds better than the majority of the material on his latest album.

10. Vetiver-”It’s Beyond Me”-The Errant Charm

Just shy of a week ago, indie-folk group Vetiver, dropped their latest album, which is titled The Errant Charm. The release represents their 5th studio release. The group was brought into recognition with collaborations with artists like Devendra Banhart and releases on Sub Pop.

11. Dadalife-”Unleash the Fuckin’ Dada (Dirtyloud remix)”

Dirtyloud is a small but talented duo who produce hard electro-house. This latest release was dropped via their SoundCloud.

12. Ki:Theory-”Holiday Heart”

Ki:theory is an indie act that was featured on the Tron:Reconfigured album. He has a free album up for grabs on his website
