The very asking of the questions is indicative of it's answer. The uncertainty as to whether or not the great utopia that Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed of has become reality answers that "no," it has not. Of course, there is no argument that great strides have been, many because the influence and commitment that MLK exhibited. In our founding documents, equality has been achieved, however what is on paper is not always reality. In fact, most times, it is not. Still today many people struggle and face varying degrees of racism. Still in the south, a condescending view on African Americans remains in many rural areas. But beyond just African Americans, many other races, especially Musilms are unjustly feeling the impact of racism. Society seems to have, metaphorically, taken the medicine, but still haven't been cured.
